New place

It's been a busy couple of weeks. On the 15th we threw a birthday party for Christina. The birthday party was fun but it took a lot of time to organize. One of Lucho's nieces, helped us out with the decorations. She's one of those people who really gets in to decorating. Everything was "princess" themed, down to the snack trays. And I blew up about a million pastel-colored balloons. In the end the place looked really nice, but I think next time I might hire someone to do all the work for me...

Then, shortly after the party we were getting ready to move. It was one of the easiest moves I've ever done - we just moved to the apartment next door. I might have mentioned a while back that Lucho's sister bought the apartment next door. We found out that it was for sale at a really good price so she took advantage of the deal and bought it. That was a couple of months ago and they've been working on it ever since (painting, fixing the wood floors, etc.). It is a really nice place, much bigger than the old place, with lots of light. It also has a beautiful view, and it is the perfect size for all of us (Lucho's sister is living with us too - she was staying with her mom but it didn't work out).

So now we're all moved in and almost everything is settled. The only problem is that we don't have hot water - we have to go next door to take showers. But I'm hoping that will get fixed soon. But, hey, we've got internet, and cable. What more could you ask for??
